The Altea website says that the hires tiles are available as a torrent file, but I can't find a link to such a file there, is that option still supported with the newest texture updates?

Thanks for your suggestion, but I get the same error message...

Yes, Ripley, I had already read the instructions at that site ..

Thanks for your help! Just one question: compared to the current version produced by Martin (I think is the ninth), your file matches the version ...?

You're right. Both names resolve to the same IP, so they should work both :tiphat:

Yup. The svn server should serve out on either domain. Only nginx differentiates between them to serve the relevant site for each domain.

I'll be able to update my mirror this evening, I hope.

Sorry, I don't know how to do the torrent file, so I have to defer the creation thereof to Xyon's expertise ...

There is an out-of-date torrent which contains the previous version of the high-res textures, which isn't really worth downloading. I'll build a new torrent series with the most recent textures tonight once my mirror is in-sync.

Should I be able to see the earth features with the Lo Earth from the Iss. I run the DG docked to ISS. And I see is a BIG blue ball no features at all.

Yes, you should definitely see something.
Did you correctly extract the textures? It sounds as if you don't have them at all.

You have downloaded the cloud textures or you have disabled the cloud layer (and you're not above mid-Pacific)?

Yes. I downloaded the 530MB Lo earth zip and unzipped into the beta directory.

Thanks. I disabled the clouds now I see Earth. I guess there is still the issue of my earlier image. Where it looks as if the buildings are floating

Yes, shadows of buildings are still on 0 level, in Edwards AFB it`s even more observable. But that was written somewhere.
BTW I wanted to notice that there is a "bump" on the shore somewhere at Patrick AFB (south of KSC)- a kind of " mountain" - wrong entry in elevation map.

If this is in response to my posted link: my repository there is a clone of the official SVN repo, just hosted on Bitbucket via Mercurial. The latest version the link pointed to is (always) the latest version of Martin's repo. I'm usually not further behind than 1 or 2 days with the synchronization, so if a later release is out and you have the same troubles, just wait some days and try my link again. It will always give you the latest version of the mirrored repository.

I'm currently updating all the files on my mirror of the Orbiter Beta textures and elevation data.

If you are attempting to download them from mirror.orbiter-radio.co.uk, you are probably going to be disappointed by the result.
