The XR2 Ravenstar version 1.0 has been officially released! Steve and I want to thank the XR2 beta team for all their hard work and feedback during beta testing, as well as all those on the forum here who helped with public RC1 testing.

Changes since RC1 are:

* Fixed bug where SCRAM or RCS fuel tanks could be empty after saving and re-loading a scenario when the main fuel tank was already empty.

* Fixed gear up/gear down callouts not being affected by the master callout volume setting in the config file.

* Moved the center-aft navigation light forward (+Z axis) slightly.

* Fixed APU and door sound effects to only be audible inside the ship.

* Some minor flight manual tweaks.

You may download the XR2 from my Web page as either a single zip file or separate 2-MB RAR files. If you have trouble downloading the zip file please download the separate RAR files and then combine and extract them using WinRar.

Happy flying! :)

This went quite fast! Were hardly any loose ends from what I could tell when the beta was out publicly. Very well done!

That was quick! I also like your new site!

Nice Site Doug!

I will redo my DGIV toXR2 tutorial soon ;)

Thank you very much for your superb add-on.
This is for sure one of the best addons ever made for orbiter.
It´s big fun to fly this bird.

Again my deepest respekt for this hard work to you and your team.

regards

Well done Doug and Steve! This thing's going to be a beauty to fly!

Also well done to the beta team, though I'm still jealous that you guys got it before I did. :P

BTW, the new site has the J.Denholm stamp of approval! Well done!

Great work! I haven't had much time to try it or the betas, but I was able to get to the ISS last night, admittedly, I had 0.7% in the main tank left, but at least I got there right!? I had lots of fun, the immersion this craft gives is incredible!
GREAT WORK XR2 TEAM!

Congrats on the release!

Flew her for the first time today, really beautiful. Thanks to everyone involved.

I dont know it could be a few things like your ip or ISP

Sweet ship and sweet site! Thanks guys for all the hardware! It is very much appreciated!

Btw, were their updates for the XR5 and XR1 codebases such that I should update my downloaded copies?

Your site (www.dougsorbiterpage.com) have 403 error (Access forbidden)? Why? :( I don't understand why your site is not for all accessible now?

As a heads-up to all, Scorpion_SK and I are figuring this out over PM.

Sweet ship and sweet site! Thanks guys for all the hardware! It is very much appreciated!

Btw, were their updates for the XR5 and XR1 codebases such that I should update my downloaded copies?

The XR1 and XR5 codebase is updated, but I still need to test both ships before public release. I plan to push the new XR1 and XR5 builds out to the XR2 beta team in a week or so. If testing goes smoothly as I expect, the new XR1 and XR5 should be available in about two weeks.

AAH!!! 53 mins to download this before I can fly it!!!

Cool work Doug, cant wait to fly this!!!!!:speakcool:

What can I say? Beautifully made, remarkably hard, extremely well done to absolute perfection.

Sweeeeeeeeeet !
Let me just fetch my crash helmet !
I've been waiting for this bird and from the developement thread, the wait was worth it !

[EDIT]

When installing the files, is it safe to overwrite the XRPayloadBay.cfg ( from the XR5 ) with the new one ?
What about the mesh of the same name ?
