I decided to get Orbiter out again and load up a bunch of asteroids (I've got about 20 main belt rocks loaded at the moment; might add Trojans and Jupiter's moons...), and play Expanse (well, except for the Epstein Drive part).

I put a base in Occator crater (what better place than the big bullseye you can see from space?) and then decided to put Papy's Bar in geosync (ceres-sync?) over the same latitude. Which wasn't easy to do, but I figured it out. Altitude is 719.4 km.

(And yes, I know my graphics are crap. I still haven't upgraded them yet...)

I look at the photos and don't understand how some of them were made. It seems that it is computer graphics. Some photos are like from science fiction films. I am new to space exploration, so I don’t know what opportunities exist for space exploration at the moment. I'm just on my way to finding out about it.

These are all screencaps from within the sim. So yes they're computer graphics; either people just showing awe-inspiring images of their voyages or showing off their modding work. On mine (above your post) I was using the Ceres Level 8 add-on and the Papy's Bar add-on.

Columbia heads towards the Hubble Space Telescope on the first mission of 2002, STS-109/HST SM3B after waiting out 24 hr delay due the forecast of cold temperatures at launch time on February 28.

NASSP CM Virtual Cockpit work-in-progress. The CM VC was made by another NASSP developer many years ago and up until now has been static. Work has finally begun to bring her to life :)

There's one for New Years.

Edit---
Actually let me clarify that. There is an New Years "egg" for you in Orbiter Sound.

Short flight on Mars to Olympus base, taken on OMP

Anyone else just randomly use OMP so they can't be tempted to timewarp? Just me? Ok...
