Looks great Brian. You can disable clipping in Dx9 and it won't disappear.

Thank you.

Thanks for reminding me, pappy2.
That's a nice 3-axis view in that pic.
I should be able to get going on this soon :)

Brian do you know where I can get the IDA update
Hi Barry,
you need the the "IDA pre-r.ZIP" file from the first post in this thread:
https://www.orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=35320&highlight=International+Docking+Adapter

Install it, then edit the Config/Vessels/IDA.cfg to use Donamy's Docking Parameters:
Code:
; === Docking ports ===
BEGIN_DOCKLIST
0 0.05  0.32    0 0  1    0  1 0        ;CCVehicle
0 0 -0.38    0 0 -1    0 -1 0            ;PMA
 END_DOCKLIST
Then you need to add it into your scenario, here's a scenario with Dragon approaching ISS, with IDA already docked to the ISS:
Code:
BEGIN_DESC
Ready to dock to ISS.
END_DESC

BEGIN_ENVIRONMENT
  System Sol
  Date MJD 58361.1505666301
  Context SpaceX
END_ENVIRONMENT

thanks Brian I'll give that a go. I'm not sure but are you the one who did the EVA guys in the ISS and do they have helmet lights ?

Once the IDA is installed can other vehicles like the shuttle still dock to the ISS ?

Good evening "Don"
Your modification solution is very good::thumbup: :thumbup:
Crew Dragon is in the right position the nose cone well above the PMA.

By cons sorry "Brian" but the lazer is no longer in the target of IDA. :facepalm: :facepalm:

What ISS is being used for these screen captures?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello "Tim"
I use:
[ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5633"]US ISS A to Z v.3[/ame]
with
[ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3737"]International Space Station v.3.2[/ame]
with a lot of ADDON from the OH community for its update.

Now there is also:
[ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=7240"]Donamy and Thorton's International Space Station for Orbiter 2016[/ame]
which brings everything together.

Up to you to decide :thumbup:

There has also a [ame="https://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=7145"]Dragon V2[/ame] by Perseus for both Orbiter 2010 and 2016.

Hi Barry, give her a wave from me! Do you ever work at the Boca Chica site? If so, we can keep an eye on you from this South Padre island webcam :-D

Just re-watched the docking of the Dragon 2 spacecraft to the ISS. The real docking was so much like the Orbiter simulation of it. The quality of the Crewed Dragon in Orbiter is so amazing! Thank you Brian and Donamy for this excellent addon!

Hey Brian

again you and Don have done a super job with Dragon 2. I know your looking at an update with the Draco's under the nose cap I would ask you to look at some new VC views and the Docking MFD. Are you doing the Landing scenario ?
I have been to Boca Chica but still working the flow in Texas with the Dragons. I will wave if I get there anytime soon
Thanks a bunch

Hi Barry,
thanks, we got a whole lot more info about how the Crew Dragon operates now! Yes, I guess Don will probably be updating his latest Dragon (which looks quite superb). I will hope to have a de-orbit scenario done (and a splashdown target ;-) in the next few days. Do we have any info on splashdown zone or recovery vessel location?
Cheers,
Brian
