I was a poster on the ronpaulforums for many years, almost ten. And a lot of libertarians, don't think America needs an over reaching government or foreign policy.
They advocated, fund raising for healthcare, people could chip in, and help build the roads, now a few posters suggested this, instead of who ever contracted by a state or county authority to do so.
I have even sent a message to the ron paul institute last year, on how would the sea lanes be kept open if America didn't do this, no response, perhaps every nation could be take a turn in policing the world, if they don't believe in a UN, which the Irish have contributed, at the same time, war is a racket, but it also denies that there aren't fools in the world, or ambitions by others, somebody like Mr Paul wouldn't of gone to Vietnam, if he'd been leader instead of Lyndon Johnson.
The heart of the Ron Paul communities, is family, welfare loafing, they don't believe in welfare for lazy ***** in society, but popping kids if somebody can afford them, it is all selfish, narcissism, and conservative, religious orientated outlooks, home schooling, I wonder why that is, perhaps religious sensitives, too much trash taught in schools.
Some even dabble in exclusive white only sympathy, like in South Africa. Almost a sense of Yee ha, cow boy entitlement, pretending to be sitting bull, the sheer arrogance of some, like they are natives themselves being taken over, by other cultures and some faith. I got pissed with one guy, I referred to him as a religious plant, and fascist, all while I was seen as the NASA socialist, lazy bum.
How ever some did support NASA, as a tax payer funded program. But they believed in private enterprise for the Moon or Mars, or hell exploit the planets, while no thought as to the reality of destroying them.
At heart of libertarians message is a balanced budget, with a weak federal government is the real reality, religion or not, Ron Paul or not.
