Bad luck today, crash day !
Aren't they a bit too far away? I can't actually read all the text. Anyway, you know best.
PS. Now this is where those Huston guys should get their ideas.
PSS. If the text shouldn't be read good anyway, could it be made mixed with chinese, french, english, german? (or maybe, like in SF movies, they all speak english ;) )

Back to topic...:drools: until "a thursday"

Who care ? In hollywood movies all you see are big plot and unreadable red text on instruments.

It's all about ambiance, crashing and having the ship's system (seem to) notice it is nice.

It is. When I saw that pic, my reaction was "Oh that is too cool".

Would it be too difficult to have the screen's pictures distort and warp when you crash, before straightening out as those pictures come up?

Can't wait, time to hunt down some images I think!

I just miss the single loose panel with electroguts hanging down the ceiling, regardless of the kind of accident.

Star Trek first did this with screens on the USS Enterprise. Every now and then a completely meaningless screen would change into something equally irrelevant! If the screens would have been static, you'd have noticed it (more!) as fake!

It's like the background mechanics in an autoshop scene from a movie. They're not really fixing cars, but they add ambiance and look like they are. And that's as far as you go. You're focused on the plot and main characters, not if customer xyz is getting a standard or premium oil change.
