There are thousands of "utilised" 10+year-old cars that should have been scrapped but are instead re-sold around here. Needless to say, while a new Lada is no gift from heaven, a used Lada is worse (even though some quick-to-break parts must have already been replaced... ten times). Also doubt you'd want to buy Lada parts in the UK and spend days under your "Lastotchka" on a trenchcoat with a monkeywrench in your hand and a load of Russian non-literary expressions to describe the situation.

Sounds like most of my early cars...

They have had a sort of following here, never had one myself. Didn't realise they were a Fiat design, explains why they looked familiar.

Edit: Just realised I'm getting it confused with the Trabant. Not sure which model that might be an insult to?

Being from Romania, I simply must advocate for the Dacia. It's an amazing car that you can fix with just about anything.

Just had a look through my motoring reference:

No Dacia, but it has the Renaults from the 60's:

Must get a new one, I think its out of date...

Like the new models, especially the Sandero, looks good. They went a bit strange with the 1410 though?
