Apollo 20 hoax?

???

That tall, thin tower in the middle could easily conceal a Saturn V rocket too. Then, when they want to launch it to the moon to go and get some more alien artifacts, they can just claim there was a minor earthquake responsible for the noise and vibrations, and the illusion of a rocket hurtling up towards space was just a reflection/refraction of the planet Venus in some swamp-gas.

See? Apollo 20. Easy.

I see it in its infancy in 2007. Please listen to this video and give their opinion of the audio:

YouTube - Apollo 20 preparing for DPI

that audio is from Dan Stephs Orbiter Sound. 0:31 is quite clearly one of the standard random noises..........!

WTH at that video?? All noises were exactly the ones I hear in Orbiter every day, either Dansteph took them from there or the maker of that video took them from Dansteph. If it's the latter then I think they have violated the copyright law.

Which Orbinaut made that video?

I think it very likely that video was shot in Orbiter and then post-produced to attempt to hide the fact with some dodgy colour smearing, noise, and of course to add that very official-looking Department of Defense opener there - is NASA really part of the DoD? Anyway, looking at the bottom of the window just screams AMSO to me.

And this one is even worse. You can totally tell this was made with AMSO, particularly when the astronaut hops.

I'm not sure, but does AMSO have the helmet side shields? I just fired up an Apollo 17 scenario and it didn't seem to have them.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

@T.Neo You either press SHIFT+L or CTRL+L or some combination of the two...

...

Yeah, the hopping is kind of a dead giveaway. So someone's using orbiter to forge silly conspiracy videos? That's kind of... obscene!

Hey, maybe something good will come out of it. Maybe the author will develop animated UMMUs in order to forge better material?

Some Hoax pics of my own, just to prove how easy it is. These took me about 20 minutes to make (and about a half hour to set up the shots)

Apparently, the whole "hoax" was just a viral marketing campaign for a new movie "Apollo 18". The plot is based on "Never Before Seen" (a la Paranormal Activity) footage of another, secret, moon landing, during which alien life was found. The tag-line is "There's a reason we never went back to the moon".

During Apollo 18, they actually did meet living organisms in space. They met Soviet Cosmonauts as part of the ASTP programme!! :)
