Hi,
I wanted to open one of the mesh files from Orbiter 2016 in Blender, I need a mesh file importer/exporter, is there one for this version of the program?
I made a basic sail using a free public domain sail image to texture it. It is based of the animation Starshot.
I added a cube looking like a rectangle, probably will need a texture from a mother board or something for detail.
Anyone here can render it in blender.
So this can get to the Moon very quickly, I don't remember the details of the probe, how fast it would travel and all that. Reminds me a little of project Orion or the Daedalus.
Starshot is meant to do a quick flyby, so going to the Moon should get to the vicinity of it. The actual probe would be pushed by lasers, but in this case I think just propellant with no actual light?
