Perhaps I am one of the few who's name needs no explanation!

And yes, I know its technically wrong, but like Ron Howard said in an interview on apollo13 film (horrible paraphrase): when the myth is better than the truth, print the myth. ;)

If there's a name that doesn't need explanations, then it's mine! :D
Fabri is the abbreviation for Fabrizio, my name, and 91 is, well, you guess...

I guess mine's boring LOL

It's my real name. I like it because my name is Russian, but I am Filipino. My parents were Dostoevsky fans, so they pulled my name off the main character's name in 'Crime and Punishment' Herrera is my last name, which is Spanish in origin I guess. The Philippines was colonized by Spain for over 400 years, so our natives were given Christian (Spanish) surnames. My great-great uncles come from a long line of blacksmiths, and 'herrero' means smith or blacksmith. Since Родион is basically a form of the English word "John", then my name can be translated as "John Smith" LOL

That sounds like Apollo conspiracy theory bait.

Haha, only when taken out of context. But on that note, Howard also recalls a film reviewer who panned the ending, saying they would never survive... He didn't realise it was a true story...

So perhaps Ron should have said 'when the mythical grammar is better than the real grammar, print the myth' ;)

Right behind you - don't look!
"Ghostrider" was the name given to the fictional F-19 stealth aircraft in Red Storm Rising. And no, you're not calling me "Frisbee". If you do, I'll come after you with a 2x4.:nono:

I've had this username for probably a decade now. To be clear, I'm talking about the pre-high school era. I think I just wanted two words that sounds interesting together. In any event, I've grown attached to it over the years despite it sounding a bit, ah, young. Hard to rationalize changing your online identity when you've had it for so long. :)

My username? Well....... ehrm....... never mind :)

The original C3PO hated space flight, so you might have guessed I'm a fan of irony. (it's like fluffy, but made of iron)

I dunno, the actual conversation (especially 'we are venting something') was incredible - the calm and cool shown by the crew is really inspiring.

The dictionary entry for 'Badass' should redirect to 'Astronaut.'

... But this is straying from the topic. :shifty:

My 2nd role playing character's name is Dantassii Tacatii created in 1979. I've been using the ID/avatar Dantassii online since March 15, 1985 when I first signed onto Q-Link from my C128 computer. I've been using the ID almost everywhere I've gone since then. That makes me a little over 560 internet years old. ;)

The first part relates to my first "handle" when starting out on the local Commodore BBS's back in the early 1990's. The original one was King's Lead Hat, the name of a Brian Eno song from the late 70's. It eventually got shortened to KLH and then de Hat.

The second part...well...if you don't know...go read some Vogon poetry.

Koloss means "colossus" and means two things:

1.) My physical appearance because I am pretty bulky and (shame on me for being a bit "peacocky") muscular.
2.) The awesome album made by my favorite Band "Meshuggah"

I used to use 'dbeachy' years back, but then it tended to be used on different sites and so 'dbeachy1' was the result. :tiphat:
