ISS A to Z is the most Amassing addon here. Really great work !! An updated version release would be great and a real time so it could be tracked using orbiter. Still enjoy using it in orbiter. Super job Don.

Hey Donamy! I am experiencing a problem with the ISS A2Z add-on. The RRM and CTC are rotating randomly in my scenario and I don't know why and it wasn't happening before. Have you experienced this bug?

I found the reason to the problem I was having. I had to resort back to the original dextre3.ini file included in ISS A2Z. The replacement .ini file from SPXCR4 was causing troubles for me. The ANIM_COMP parts to be exact.

I'mjust now getting this addon set up and caught up with. I'm having a problem however, It seems that the spacecraft module is ignoring any changes I make to the ini files. I wanted to make the PMA2 dock heads up for the crew dragon, with consideration to the conformal solar arrays.

Yes I know the dock is actually on the harmony module, I changed the rotation in the ini file, to several different attitudes, but it never changed a thing in the sim. I finally said to heck with the animations and redid it as a straight cfg vessel, and everything worked fine as expected.

then I had a similar issue with Unity, trying to make the nadir hatch in to a docking berth, which unfortunately was set up with a dock location assuming a PMA was there. tried to move it in the ini file, again no change in the sim. tried to ditch the animations and go full config, and got a weird distortion of the mesh this time.even tried hybrid config with sc3 and the distortion got worse.

Is this an issue of incompatibility between sc3 and orbiter 2016 perhaps? If so, it very strange that it seems to have the original ini settings down perfectly, all the modules attach where they are supposed to and the docking ports as well, for the configuration when AtoZ came out. It just won't change anything that changes in the ini file

Never mind, the issue was due to the server folder under modules having unchanged ini files. Copied the edited files over into that dupicate folder and it works as expected.

and yes, I created the symbolic links so I don't have to copy the edited files over now.

Hey Love the addon but have you thought of doing an update to version 4 with the new vehicles coming soon might be the way to go.

I have issues with the SSRMS 1 of my orbiters the arm is there but doesn't work and another setup the arm is there and works but its not connected to the Station . Another thought is the EVA teather guys should have the helmet lights working

I have made alot of updates for a version 4, but I lack the coding skills and SC5 is in limbo as far as I know, so. If any new coders would like something to do. Let me know. :rolleyes:

What's not working with the SSRMS ? Which version is it ? The EVA guys have lights, but they can't be used with SC4. :(

Is it possible to attach Strela 2 to its current location on Zarya only with editig the existing files or would that be more complicate? Thanks!

ISSR\Zarya! Should I use Zaryaclosed:spacecraft\spacecraft3? Really I don't know which one to use.

Thanks Donamy but for me it doesn't work.
Strela is attached but in wrong location - inside Zarya.

In my Zaryaclosed.ini for Parent 4 it says

Hey Donamy, I am taking a lot of fun re doing historical mission.
I managed to edit quite well STS 88 scenario.

I was curious about one thing.
I can't grapple Unity when it is written: Unity in scenario file.
However, when I change it to Unitybay (like in your scenario ), and it grapples and works like a charm

I am curious to know the difference between Unity and unitybay object?

Do you have a good document about how editing scenario to add payload, satellites, vessel etc works in Orbiter?

The unitybay is how it was, well ...in the bay. The regular Unity is how it was Post STS-88, with the covers put on the trunions. Also, at the time it was made, limitations in SC3 only allowed a certain number of attachments. So, I made one with grapple attachments and one with module attachments. It works, so I never changed it.
