It isn't. The OBSS is still deployed in the launch config even with STBD_MPM_ROLLOUT 0 0.00000 in the scenario.
 
For me, having the 'STBD_MPM_ROLLOUT 0 0.0000' entry works. Make sure you have the 'STBD_MPM' line above the STBD_MPM_ROLLOUT line.
I just noticed that the attachment point location on the MPMs is incorrect is the scenario starts with the MPMs stowed; this should be fixed soon.

I must have an older version because if I substitute "STBD_MPM" for "MPM", I get no starboard MPMs.

OK, after some experimenting, If I have this in the scenario,

The STBD MPMs cannot be stowed, If I remove it, they can be stowed, but a scenario cannot be started with them stowed.

Just took a closer look, and the MPMs are stowed and the talkback shows STO. Another thing is that when the MPMs are being deployed or stowed the talkback refuses to update to barberpole.
 
Has anyone noticed that the SRBs impact the wings at seperation, or is it just me that has this problem ?
 
LOL, reminds me of the exact same problem in SSM07. It was brought up in SP1, and they STILL haven't fixed it.
 
That is a left-over from the fact that we never finished the SRB sep problem. The problematic lines are in Atlantis_SRB.cpp as it's the BSMs that cause the unwanted rotational motion of the SRBs.

Yes, we just need to come up with the correct position and directional vectors for the BSMs so that when they fire, they cause the correct SRB sep behaviour.

Not sure, I don't even know the exact cause, also I can't remember seeing the boosters impact on the wings in my last test.

What do you call worked? The last tests I did when fixing the SRB cut-off, which included the BSM engine fixes, which should have dealt with another "unrealistic" booster separation behavior, did not result in the SRBs touching the orbiter wings. AFAIK, we did not change the BSM thruster placement from that point on.

If this bug only happens at low frame rates, caused by people forgetting all the time to set those textures we paint on often to "dynamic", we have no bug - we have a performance problem.

Sorry to sound sarcastic, but this really annoys me.
 
How could not applying dynamic textures, affect the SRB performance ? Please forgive my ignorance.
