Has anybody else had problems with OverrideRCS module in Orbiter 2010? I thought it worked for a while, then the next day it didn't. I still have to switch between ROT/LIN RCS modes with the added encumberance of having mapped ROT commands under ALT+KP. I think I was dreaming or something...

I tried restarting Orbiter and disabling/enabling the module - nothing happened. Any ideas?

yeah, it doesn' work anymore... it only worked in Orbiter 2006... in 2010 it does nothing:(

not too big a problem really - that thing was just a quick kludge i hooked up so i could try out controlling the RCS with my x52's throttle hat... these days i'm making good progress with it's much more ellaborate successor, a full-fledged DirectInput-based Multi-Joystick suite (check out the addons forum for latest version)

it does however, still bear a handful of limitations, such as, hard-overriding POV controls which trample over some kinda stock features, and it doesn't support buttons yet, which kinda makes it unfit as a replacement for OverrideRCS at the moment...

but plans are, it will shortly... and by "shortly" i mean, i gotta finish rearranging my PC desk at home first  (can't really work if i 'm not seated properly, right?)

but to answer your question... no, it doesn't work in 2010... the good news, you're not insane:thumbup:

if you can stick in with switching LIN/ROT a couple more days, i'll have a new version featuring the OverrideRCS functionality up in a bit:tiphat:

I definitely will! I'm using HOTAS Cougar ATM, and even with all the programmability, this little switcharoo thing is almost driving me crazy

I wouldn't be too sure about that quite yet, but at least this is one indicator to the contrary :)

Thank you, sir, for making a fellow man's life a bit bearable again :)
