Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Will the spaceship be able to make atospheric flight like the DGIV or can it only glide like the Space-Shuttle?
The external engines/tanks/boosters/stages visible on screenshots rather say its embedded engines are vacuum only.

Althoug Vertigo Shuttle itself doesn't have enough dV to reach orbit on itself, it is possible to start engines in atmosphere.

Engines are modified RD-0146 with inflight start and atmospheric capability

Trust is barely enough to sustain level flight on sea level, so If you reenter from LEO, you should be able to perform powered atmospheric flight & landing.

Although I still have problems with reentry (COG shifting not done yet) Vertigo perform quite good in atmosphere.

Starting with 1.5 km/s in 38km alt craft achieved ~900 km gliding range so no need for powered atmo flight at all.

Unpowered landings are quite easy with this machine also.

I think that is closer to the real nose art of WW2 ;)

Cool Scorponok. Recently, I got interested in Transformers again.

How about making Satellite!Soundwave or the U.S. Military Satellite seen in ROTF?

Im sorry i dont have time to make him right now. Exams are starting now for some reason..... So on that note i bid you farewell for now............:salute:

Going into orbit.

Space station I've been building. Trying to use only commercial launch methods like Energia and the BSP4. Eranda and Neesys were too heavy even for Energia and required one of the outrageously overpowered Velcro Saturn variants to be brought out of storage.

The XR5 is a pure truck: hauling into orbit Eranda, Nexus, Destiny and Stelar is awesome :)

Nice Izack! Has that, 'old comic-book' look to it.:tiphat: Very cool.:)

I was burning time and snooping around old screen shots. A posting by River Crab back on November 24 reminded me of a skin I did a while back.
