(Those habitat modules just kind of popped out of nowhere... :shifty:)

A group of XR2 Ravenstars landed (docked) on the flight deck of the EAS Cortez.

*Note* Additional docking positions will be available in an upcoming release of the beta.

Where can I get that ship :D

The Cortez Explorer Class vessel in LEO.

Image effects created with Paint.NET.

Does it come with solar sails ? Ones that look like these? :D

Latest uploaded beta here:

But doesn't have the added docks in the config. If you want them located as they were in that screenshot, just add these lines to the config:
Code:
; === Docking ports ===
BEGIN_DOCKLIST
-65 -162.1 1597.2 0 0 1 0 1 0 560
-92 -162.1 1597.2 0 0 1 0 1 0 562
-119 -162.1 1597.2 0 0 1 0 1 0 564
-65 -162.1 1697.2 0 0 1 0 1 0 550
-92 -162.1 1697.2 0 0 1 0 1 0 552
-119 -162.1 1697.2 0 0 1 0 1 0 554
END_DOCKLIST

Sorry, no solar sails. :P

I was watching (G1) Transformers and thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if the XR2 looked like Starscream?" Then I made this:

starscream.JPG

If you can help me on how to tint the windows orange and save it so it is 2 MB (which compressor?) instead of 20 MB, I will upload this on Orbithangar.

EDIT: Now with Starscream (front), Thundercracker (upper right in blue), and Skywarp (upper left in black)

decepticonjets.JPG

I already saved the textures as a dds, but can I save it again compressed?

Me using topper0710's AA-Missile addon.

I couldn't resist firing missiles, then switching focus and trying to evade them.

The only vessel I had agile enough was a DG-S with Gimbal Mod.

Topper's addon can be found [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3324"]here[/ame]. Artlav's Gimbal Mod can be found [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2775"]here[/ame].

The white dot in the NASA image is not the sun. I don't think any Apollo was on the Moon with sun so close to the horizon as you show in the Orbiter screenshot.

That's right. The dot is a visual artifact on the image. You can see the halo of the sun above it. The actual sun angle was around 25-30° as this was thought to be the best angle for highlighting the landing site and making shadows from boulders and craters stand out better.

Yeh i should have made the sun higher. Thanks for correcting my mistake

Panorama's are awesome

Edit:
Didn't want to double-post, but i made a new Panorama from the roof of the VAB at Wideawake. There's also a XR2 in the skies overhead.
