Skytrain isn't interstellar and has a dV capacity orders of magnitude lower, though.

Well yes, even with High temprature super-conductors and readily available Anti-matter, accelerating a several thousand tonne vessel at 1.6 Gs for months at a time is freaking ridiculous.

But the whole point of the ISV, is just that: It is an ISV. An Inter Stellar Vehicle.

A real ISV might not look quite like the Venture Star, or have the same sort of engines, or have the same sort of insane acceleration profile, but... I can at least hope that it would be interstellar. :p

Skytrain isn't an ISV. It's something else. It's an IPV. Interplanetary vehicle. And there's nothing wrong with that. I darn wish we had operational IPVs right now. :rolleyes:
