Since we dont appear to be wanting to create a seperate thread for the B-crew, I thought Id post my three questions of the day here.

B-crew complement: where do we stand right now - only 4/5 slots filled? I suppose we could cope with that

Discovery- before I started doin the paint job, I was hoping for some feedback on what colours everyone else was thinking. (I kinda think blue trim would be nice)

Any concept sketches for the crew elevator im supposed to create? maybe the elevator box could be one of the UCGO inflatable base-connect modules?

For colors, a nice steel blue would be good, like how the Odyssey looks now...

I have a concept sketch for the cable car system...I'll send it shortly...I've been going crazy organizing the landing.

The Base is almost ready!

Here is our base! I removed the Orulex Terrain (I don't like it in Mercury) and corrected a small problem...

I think we should use the Spotlight 2 addon, so we can add some light in the base... What do you guys think?

Sounds good to me, but the required add-on list is getting pretty long...

BTW, you did a fantastic job putting the base together:thumbup:
Especially considering the challenge of moving UMMUs around near the pole

I also would like to use the lights packed in our cargo to create a big landing pad for the Arrow.

The base is finished
We still have some minor things to do, like set up lights, tables, and such.

Found I only had the flag kit for the U.S. While I love my country as much as the next American, I don't think that would be very fair, as we have British, Brazillian, Candian, and many other countries represented in IHP. So we won't be setting up flags until we can get everybody's, which will probably be next year...

I've moved everyone back to their rooms.

Tomorrow we rest. Thursday we will drive to Scopas Crater. That's about five hours away, so you guys won't need to meet me in chat until we get there. When we get to Scopas, we'll set up some science equipment, and then go home.

MESSENGER Rendezvous cancelled. Sorry, guys, but we don't have the delta-v to do it and still get home
I will not be available until late in the evening tomorrow.

I discovered the what the missing cargos were all about...the SSK is missing. I suspect Felipi deleted it so the scenario would run...but since we carried it to start with, I can just respawn it without being unrealistic

Scopas Mission moved to Friday, because I will be gone all day Thursday. It's a five hour drive to Scopas Crater. If anyone wants to drive the rover, now is the time to speak up
