Specifications
Non-Flight Shell: Eight composite fiberglass, resin-infused sections from a single mold, supported by large, C-shaped steel ribs
Structure: Cylindrical with a vertically-oriented axis, on top of a 13.8-foot square cradle
Volume: 5,230.1 cubic feet (148.1 cubic meters) in two levels
Size: 16.4 feet (5 meters) inner diameter; 10.8 feet (3.3 meters) high, total (6.6 feet barrel height with two 2.1-foot end domes on top and bottom)
Features: Inflatable loft, two docking ports, one hygiene module and one dust mitigation module/airlock.

Regardless of what surface they’re exploring, at the end of a long day collecting geological samples or performing scientific experiments, astronauts need a base of operations to return to.

Mars Hi-res Textures- highly reccomended (may not work correctly without!)

INSTALLATION
Extract all files in the orbiter2016 folder to the root of your Orbiter program directory, preserving the directory structure. This should NOT overwrite anything in the standard Orbiter package except:

Mars.cfg (in the Doc folder) make a backup before overwriting

Keys:

Astronaut:
Alt + M : cycle HUD info- all keys are listed there.

HDU-DSH_lights (select vessel):
[ALT]+[B] = Toggle Beacons
[CTRL]+[L] = Toggle Spot Lights
-For the "full" lighting effect turn on both beacons and spotlights

I like it. And the height adjustment. You could always have a guy elevated. for interior.

Don't worry, I'm pretty cuddly, atleast personna (most of the time!). I try to be only constructive with my critic, and generaly try to give people space.

Nonono, that is not the case. I live in the North, we grant carnival refugees asylum here. :cool:


Only the Braunschweig/Brunswick guys down here celebrate a big carnival, but they are pretty exotic anyway. Their carnival procession (called "Schoduvel") was yesterday. :ROFLMAO:
 
OK so you're lucky!:D Sorry my Geo was off, I thought you where further south. Where I'm at they say everything south of the Elbe is S. Germany anyway!

By the way I made a dummy breathable object that you can put anywhere and make any base breathable. Just copy (+rename) the .cfg and adjust the area inside.
 
Knew I'd forget something! didn't include the .flt and HDU-DSHbreath.cfg file. Udated in first post (sorry!)- long day!

Does anyone know why Base object Beacon Array doesn't work on Mars? Works fine on Earth.
 
Looking at your picture with night lights I'd like to ask if your light is visible through objects just like here?
