I'd love to have them, but clickable cockpits are not on the plan because of time and complexity!

Key presses don't look exciting, but they are realistic.
You can even make your own custom keyboard, here's an example:
https://www.rogerdodger.net/diyflightsims/keyboard_mod/k140b_airliner_keyboard/

I've seen some scroll fragments, but I don't know of any complete reference.
But I love that low tech solution for the flight plan!

Well, my current low-tech solution is simply doing a custom "Flightplan" MFD mode for the DLL... But the long distance plan is having a 3D cockpit, as soon as the subsystem simulation is sound. I don't think putting it all into MFD modes or painting things on the HUD will be better.

A 2D cockpit could also work, but would require some code infrastructure.

Urwumpe, just make the MFD background white and the text black...
That way you can place it on the VC (add a MFD group) where the scroll is on the VC, and it will work.

Yes, but that would be a 2D panel thing. Right now I am still working without panels at all.

So. Is theere going to be a 3d interactive or 2d interactive and 3d.

What i think is that there should be a 3d interior and a 2d interactive cockpit. I do think that idea. Hope you like it.

Thanks, we will talk when I get there
The plan is to reuse / add as much as possible to the existing add-ons.
That's why the Agena is standalone. You'll be able to use it with any Orbiter add-on.

(I haven't forgotten about MOL / Gemini B, but one thing at a time!)

Ok, got the Agena systems working and tweaked the docking port position considering the GD.

It's a wild ride to control it using the radio commands, but it does fly like that if needed.
The original commands are a bit simplified, but the logic is unchanged.

You define your Pitch & Yaw direction (-|+).
You define if Pitch and/or Yaw thrusters are active.
That way you can rotate up/down/left/right.
:hmm:

Nope, that's correct. The flag is supposed to be oriented like that as if it was flying in the wind off a normal pole.

I'm not sure, but I think the American flag is the only one where that happens.
You take into account the forward direction of motion and invert the flag if needed.

You know Vostok. You know the mod has something floating inside. This may be satisfying. Maybe you could use the following.

Gemini 3-John Youngs Sandwich
Gemini 4-Ed Whites Gloves
Gemini 5-Its Badge.
Gemini 6-Harmonica played. That could be a scn where that plays.
Gemini 7-Maps
Gemini 8-Photos of family
Gemini 9-Food
Gemini 10-Model Agena Target vehicle.
Gemini 11 Something random.
Gemini 12-Spacesuit.

I hope you like these ideas.
I hope you do them. If you dont thats fine. If you can do 1 plz let it be Youngs sanwich.

Gemini 12-Spacesuit.

You are aware how tiny a Gemini capsule cabin is with closed doors? It was already hard getting an astronaut in a spacesuit back into the cabin AND close the door above him. The spacecraft is only big enough for sitting there.

I think its much more important getting the many small differences between the Gemini spacecraft done. It was specifically designed to improve the spacecraft from mission to mission and easily access subsystems from outside.

No Gemini spacecraft was like any other. Some differences are easily visible in the VC (Event timer, fuel cells instead of batteries, command encoder, water supply) others improved the performance of the spacecraft.

And a version with the Rogallo wing and landing gear would be cool... it did never fly, but it was a nice idea.

True. Suppose so. Although. You could make them small. Like a tiny corn beef sandwich.

Yes, but where should it float? The only small free volume there is between the astronauts. And you don't want to see something float around uselessly there.

Just look at this picture, it is one of the few done from inside the spacecraft with closed hatches:

Or this one, even better:

I know but. You know vostok. That sign that floats sround the cabin. It may sound stupid but I like the idea. However. Good point.

Yeah I know it. But again, Gemini is a poor place for letting something float free. Maybe having a checklist or map appear weightless makes sense. you sure don't want to see a burst urine bag... but that was one "highlight" of a mission.

Or the ice cream. Anyways. It is orbiter. Right. Anything goes. I think?...

Anything that can be described with code.

But not everything is fun to play.

Imagine landing Ranger on the moon by manually punching holes in punch cards....
