Sorry for quality, no time to make PICs, but I managed to get HUD on 2nd computer (Linux laptop with SDL2 program) via LAN using Orb:Connect addon.

Options - Celestial Sphere < dropdown list > Hydrogen Alpha
The intensity can be adjusted with a slider.

Can be adjusted from simple black space up to some pretty psychodelic SF book cover backgrounds.
