Can this go to the Moon or at least into orbit? Atmospheric flight is for... MS Flight simulator buys and not for Orbinauts!
Yes, but aircraft play an important support role in many space programs, even if just for observation (can't imagine an Apollo landing without a helicopter etc...).
I think advanced/ high altitude supersonic prototypes and the like are also very much at home here.

I think they have more a home here than general aviation and warbirds. But also, Orbiter is free. Free to simulate ships, cars and propeller aircraft... Something of that always gets back making spaceflight better.

Also, Orbiter scenarios can get more lively that way.

Thank you all for your comments and feedback.
Indeed, Orbiter can be enjoyed both atmospherically and orbitally.
I particularly love airplanes, especially historic, larger, and rarer ones. I also plan to make rockets (later, with Multistage2025).

And in the case of the An225, let's not forget that it was responsible for carrying the legendary Buran space shuttle.

It was sarcasm. Sure thing, airplanes are totally OK for me in Orbiter. At the same time all this support stuff kerbalize Orbiter a little bit in a positive way.

Cute vessel! I like WorkBee! Maybe one one day I will try to expand WorkBee functionality and cockpit.
It's ShuttlePB, which is included in Orbiter. It's actually the simplest reference implementation to program with the Orbiter SDK.

What I actually created were the portals and the MFD to invoke them.

I've been obsessed with MFDs lately. Screenshots say it all:

Useless for Orbiter itself, they wont help you get to your destination faster, but they do make the dull interplanetary transition times a lot more fun!

Quite proud of how ChessMFD is shaping up. Full game rules and a very strong (configurable) engine to play against. Game can be saved in PGN format and uploaded to any online game analysis tool.

Video was something that I didn't think was possible to do. But it turned out great.
I can watch the 2001 Space Odyssey, while playing the 2001 Space Odyssey! (Anyone remember that Xzibit "Yo dawg" meme?)

Tetris and BreakOut (Arkanoid?) are nice pass times, but they do need a lot of polish.

The first two are almost ready to ship. For the chess engine I want to add an evaluation bar (I already have the board evaluation function, so it won't take long) and the manual (which I hate doing). Perhaps I'll add also the ability to load and replay games from PGN files.

The VideoPlayer is only missing subtitle support and it's done. Manual (blah) and ready to ship.

Source code will be included for everything.
