... what has started that promising is just another dead Project by now?
No, but I suppose Mattiass has other things to do in his life.
He asked us to be patient: let's be patient.
Multistage is a VERY complicated module....
That's true, and both of you are right.
That's why I've made a decision, one I didn't want to make, but which is necessary.
I confess that I can no longer continue developing or trying to make Multistage2026 work. In fact, I haven't touched anything in C++ or Orbiter for about two months.
I think it's a lesson in humility that I believe I've learned, and until my condition improves, I'm not going to attempt things that are beyond my capabilities. Especially not when the community depends on a project like this.
It's actually good news, because while I was initially confident and very enthusiastic about participating in this, I now realize that I only managed to delay things. By stepping aside, I'm sure that someone will take charge of this project and carry it forward successfully.
You can fork my repositories whenever you want without asking me, and I'm sure Fred18 would want that. If you have any doubts, I think you can consult him or ask for his permission. But as far as I'm concerned, be free.
Before I finish, I want to thank you not only for your patience these past two years or more, but also for your suggestions, your support with the tests, your messages of encouragement, and everything I've learned about programming, interacting with the community and friends, and especially when to step aside for the good of everyone.
Again, thank you very much.
Matías Saibene.
P.S.: I'm going to leave a note on my user profile explaining the background of this decision and why I canceled all my programming projects inside and outside of Orbiter, in case you're interested. I don't think I'll abandon the forum, but until my situation improves, I'm going to take a sort of vacation.
