This is what I fearedThe Battle Crab is facing in the right direction, but the scout is upside down and the other vessels are facing backwards

Very good, but the Chaser is still facing in the wrong direction. (Or perhaps it was facing the right way originally and I simply misremembered. Either way, it needs to be fixed.)Shadow Fleet beta
updated .cfgs, mshs, added generic LEO .scns
If you have (can make) ,scn files in the right system(s) (and screenshots(?)) I can include them and add links to the addons.
Do you have any background info on the Shadow?
You were right, they all have the same generic stats, .cfgs are now the same as the .inis.Regarding the .cfg
I see it's already been up a while with reference to the unfinished vessels, and have screenshots and info there, will release simply as a basic package asap. The upcoming update for my Z'ha'dum system will include scenarios featuring the Shadow fleet.
What do you need to do and what needs updating? The Drakh advanced fighter is not yet in Orbiter? Is it the "Drakh advanced" on Motherlode? I can put it on the list.we'll also have to do the Drakh advanced fighter along with the updated IPX Icarus and White Star with shading effects
As I mentioned before, some of the earlier B5 addons are in need of mesh updates, in order to add shading effects that were not present in their original release, namely the Thunderbolt-type Starfury, White Star (both standard and advanced), Blue Star, ISA Excalibur, IPX Icarus, Centauri atmospheric shuttle, Centauri base, and Narn Jumpgate. In addition, while they don't feature in any of my B5 system scenarios, the Aeolus-class towship and Earthforce One are also in need of such updates. In addition, the Thunderbolt-type Starfury now features docking ports. Linked below are the SC4 files for said spacecraft. What do you need to do and what needs updating? The Chaser is still facing the wrong way, though. Once that's fixed, then I can publish the .pdf document containing info on the various Shadow vessels.will release simply as a basic package asap.
The Chaser (in the release) is currently back to it's original orientation, "nose" forward, trailing spikes behind, this is correct? The Chaser is still facing the wrong way
still not following, you mean normal maps?in need of mesh updates, in order to add shading effects
I'll take a look at the mesh.As for the Drakh advanced fighter, yes, that is the exact vessel.
Yes, that's exactly what I meant.still not following, you mean normal maps?
Actually, yes, you were right, it is facing the right way. I must've just put the mesh in the wrong folder. The Chaser (in the release) is currently back to it's original orientation, "nose" forward, trailing spikes behind, this is correct?
screenshots showcasing the various Shadow vessels
Shall I add these to the Shadow Fleet addon?PDF document containing technical info on the Shadow vessels

Yes, I'll include the normal maps for the Icarus (once you get those done) in my next update. Personally, I'm thinking the normal maps for the Excalibur, White Star (both the regular and advanced versions), and Blue Star should be included as part of the Minbar system add-on, seeing as those vessels are featured prominently in the included scenarios. Likewise, the normal maps for the EA vessels (and the modified .ini files for the Thunderbolt-type Starfury) will be included in the next update to the Epsilon Eridani system, and the maps for the Centauri and Narn vessels will be included in the updates to their respective systems.Shall I add these to the Shadow Fleet addon?
Attached, normal maps for the Whitestar, you can include in your update.

Do you have any specs/.ini for this (other than 200m)? If you know of any (B5) ship of similar dimensions that would probably do.
Icarus is off the cards, basicaly would need retexturing, if anything is mapped like the white star I can do that relatively quickly and seemed to look ok.Yes, I'll include the normal maps for the Icarus (once you get those done) in my next update...
Did the White Star's normal maps work for you? Because for some reason I can't get them to work, and I can't figure out why.Icarus is off the cards, basicaly would need retexturing, if anything is mapped like the white star I can do that relatively quickly and seemed to look ok.
First the Z'ha'dum system, everything else is open for the future, also have other projects to continue.![]()
I had the White Star already installed in Orbiter2010 and a quick test looked like it worked. Where did you put them? The names of the textures should match up with the ones in the original folder. Are there different versions? I'll check and see if I can find anything.Did the White Star's normal maps work for you? Because for some reason I can't get them to work, and I can't figure out why.
As far as I know, I put all the files in the correct folder. My best guess is that the file names didn't perfectly match up, although I could be wrong.I had the White Star already installed in Orbiter2010 and a quick test looked like it worked. I checked the zip, looks ok, I noticed they're not in the babylon5 folder but go in Textures/Whitestar.As far as I know, I put all the files in the correct folder. My best guess is that the file names didn't perfectly match up, although I could be wrong.

Yeah, it might have something to do with that. I'm not really an expert on that sort of thing, to be honest. But I also noticed that none of your screenshots (shadow vessels) show bump/normal mapping?
No, I'm not.Are you using D3D9 (OrbiterNG.exe)?
I "normally" always make normal maps (and others if appropriate) if I can for every project. It's a bit of a shame if you can't see them though?By the way, are you going to do the normal maps for the other vessels?
