Looks like some birds got me on the way home... a lot of fuel left. Or I was to fast...
Hm, interesting. Haven't Farbri had a similar mysterious double engine flame-out with the F-15 once?

I think these were birdstrikes. I also experienced those, but only when flying low, while landing or taking off.I remember a similar event with the A-10C, with one engine suddenly failing without hostile fire...

As a hypothetical question, what would it take to have a dedicated server running?
Is it possible to have something that "cycles" through various missions? Or maybe to have stuff "respawn" regularly?
I looked into this a few months back and the dedicated server capabilities seemed somewhat lacking...just curious if it's changed since then.

DCS: Black Shark 2 Upgrade (not compatible on Steam).
Hm, would be cool if the Steam versions were also on sale. AFAIK you aren't supposed to mix versions, and I already purchased one of the Steam modules.
I'm starting out with the F-15C, and it's turning out both more and less complicated than I anticipated. Flight and navigation aren't terribly hard, and I've got a shaky grasp now of how to use Radar to acquire a target. The tutorials are overwhelming, though, once they become technical. So many terms, acronyms, and key combinations to remember!
Agreed. The F-15C's combat can be more than point and shoot.
And then it seems a lot less complicated when you go to the A-10C... Much acronym overload. I didn't realize how much you have to interact with computers and MFDs with a huge variety of hotkeys all the time.
