- Are "Steam Server" and "Normal Server" compatible? Because I couldn't find Richys server, but maybe it was offline...
Probably it was. I'm hosting as client, so my server is only online for a limited period of time. Normally 3-4 hours after anouncing it here.

I just had a reasonably long session of MP without any hitches. Two sorties on the S77 server, no lost connection. Because DCS was previously connecting and updating apparently without a problem (albeit with the frequent connection loss in MP, as to render it unplayable), I had assumed that the required ports had been opened by default, but it seems doing it manually made a difference.

Fortunately, I did not have any of JSwift's bad public server experiences; teamed up immediately with a couple of spanish speaking chaps, one of whom had the F-86 already. There is still some work to be done on the F-86 model, by the looks of it. Notice where the main wheels are when retracted?

Good fun!

Had a Type 2 from an AI JTAC with WP yesterday... what a surprise and what a fun... did they fix something there? Usually I only get type 3.

Just tested something... and sunk a missile boat with a Maverick-G  ... earned me a Distinguished Flying Cross in Single Player.

Starting the A10C campaign.
First mission.
First attempt: Shot down by being careless. I thought the first mission wouldn't really have danger.
Second attempt: Not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do. Consult Mission Planner after.
Third attempt: Rammed by wingman on runway while taking off. Managed to maintain control but wingman ejects...

Oh, I forgot to mention: Why the heck does TSSAA default to on? No visible difference, but a huge change in performance.

BTW, did somebody notice that there is a new S-3B tanker model included?

It has been reduced from $50 to $40
Can't wait for downloading it!

Delayed by a few days :(

159.1 MB update today. Apparently Dora has arrived.

Typical newbie error: he should have reversed the right DMS polarity before attempting the zingledopper sweep.

Dora Neun has arrived!

I just destroyed my third Fw 190 before take-off... somehow it is impossible to control the direction in which it rolls... I put the stick a bit forward to unlock the wheel during taxi and kept the stick then neutral, just like used from the P-51D...

Pretty strange... but otherwise, it seems to work fine.

Does this happen during the take-off roll or taxi?
If during TO, have you rolled a bit along the runway before locking the tailwheel?

That last one could be the problem... again oscillated out of control and had no control over the direction at all during take off. Despite being really gently on the throttle, I did not even yet exceed 1800 rpm when I made a 360 again.

Also I control taxi only by the wheelbrakes right now.
