Ok then. Server is open in a few minutes. Same mission as usual. If if you like it more difficult, just head more to the west. ^^

Ah, too bad! First time I got chance to look at Richy's Pirate FS server, had just found some "unexpected" targets, and it seems the server opted out. For information, I was pinging 217-ish, and no lag.

Couldn't make Sunday but was there on Saturday. Took me a while to figure out what was going on in the mission so I was kind of all over the place. I was way up in the northwest for a while flying some SEAD, had a weird loss of control crash (probably a stall), took out some ground units after finally watching where Richy was working and came down for a nosewheel-busting landing eventually. Good fun - I like the mission.

Do we have Huey pilots here? :-)

I startet to create a non-combat campaign for the Huey. All missions are complete and should work (of course some non-essential details could be missing). The missions in the pack are not yet arranged as a campaign but are single missions instead. They can be flown in any order but are numbered for chronological sense. The difficulty varies widely. Some are quite hard and requiere precise flying, others are just fly from A to B.

If you like, you may try out those missions. I wasn't able to test them all thoroughly, so it is still possible, that you may encounter bugs. Let me know of your opinion.

Thanks Richy. I'm not a helicopter pilot yet although I did manage to take off and land the Huey (very badly) from a running start scenario. I'll keep your mission for when I can actually get the thing to go where I want it to go.

Speaking of missions, do you have a download for the mission you (normally?) run on your server?

This is the default mission for my server:
MP_Weapons-Training_MkII.zip
But I change some details from time to time (e.g. the weather, time, or troop strenght, etc).

I'm up for further sessions this weekend, starting at Friday 1800 UTC and Saturday same time. I'll try to setup a teamspeak server too, so we'll be able to communicate a bit more effectively. Let's hope the bandwith is enough.

At the moment, there are the following plane slots available on this mission:
- A-10C
- A-10A
- Su-25
- Su-25T
- F-15C
- MiG-29S
- P-51D
- TF-51
- UH-1H
- Ka-50
- Mi-8MTV

Are there any requests for other plane types to test them out at the current scenario?

Its possible that I can join on both days, but I am not sure if my internet connection will work, still have trouble receiving UDP packets. Just need a A-10C.

I can make it on Saturday and probably Friday as well.

I just started looking at FC3 this week but how about adding a few Su33s and a carrier for some naval operations in the future? I need the Matrix "instructional download" for DCS: operator, I need to know how to fly a flanker..... ok, lets go :)

Question to the experienced pilots: I've been trying some open servers over the last two weeks and can't seem to get very far into a lot of flights before being team killed by some mofo. Not totally unexpected and to be fair, there are cool pilots out there but is this a case of "welcome to the internet, say hello to the trolls" or am I just unlucky?

Likely a mix of both. You can be sure that many will just annoy people on public servers, because the nice guys play on password protected servers.

Yeah, probably normal internet BS but it's frustrating spending 30 minutes setting up the payload and practicing cold starts on an A-10C just to be someones personal target practice before even leaving the ground. At least one of those (unexpected) kills was from the other team but still.... a BVR F15 against an unaware, way out of the way Su-25T on a training server and the guy brags about it..... real cute.

It's not my place to say, but maybe Richy might consider a password on his server? Has there been trouble in the past?

Also, confirmed day off on Friday so I should be around.

Add some air defenses around your airport... some lessons that Germany learned in WW2 can not be wrong.

Hello,
I have a little problem with my G940:
I defined a "death zone" and a little curve for the joystick.
If I use the trim function in the SU-27, the joystick is moving by force feedback. The problem is, that the "death zone" and the curve are not moving with the trim...
So if I put the stick forward, the elevator moves, then it goes slower, sops (because joystick is in death zone), then it moves again...
So in my mind, the "death zone" and the "curve" should move with the trimming...

If I deactivate force feedback, I cannot trim the SU-27 :-(
Any Idea?

In FC2 I disabled the ForceFeedback in the "producer.cfg" but I can't find this file in DCS:FC3 :-(
