XRSound disabled and OrbiterSound enabled in Orbiter's modules tab?
my mistake, thanksXRSound disabled and OrbiterSound enabled in Orbiter's modules tab?
Ahhh is there a way, someone to point me to the latest / updated Apollo 11 textures and landing site ?Using the new Terrain Tool, here's the Apollo 11 landing site:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1YWj6PmQR_utjjW-kPfJFVGIGUOLAnFCC
Extract to textures\moon
Notice that the default Tranquility Base is off relative to the actual landing site.
Orbiter/AMSP needs to be updated on this regard, using the data here http://lroc.sese.asu.edu/posts/938
So the automated landing will not put you on the historical place...
On the image I landed close the historical site (it's the light circle at the tip of the LEM's shadow).

Well, it isn't 2026 yet...We don't have Orbiter 2026. Not yet.![]()
We have until 2026-12-31, but obviously we'd never cut it that closeWell, it isn't 2026 yet...
Imagine someone cutting a release on the last day of the year just to keep the number correctWe have until 2026-12-31, but obviously we'd never cut it that close![]()
Oh sorry my bad! Of course I was talking of Orbiter 2016.We don't have Orbiter 2026. Not yet.![]()
I honestly thought you're probably referring to Orbiter 2024, and others are just kidding around a little bit lol, but I understandOh sorry my bad! Of course I was talking of Orbiter 2016.
A little bit enthousiastic, may be![]()
Sorry for the disorder I made writing 2026 instead of 2016. I do confirm I have LOI issue with IMFD with AMSO and Orbiter 2016. I saw a post on page 2 of this thread that mentions the fact.I honestly thought you're probably referring to Orbiter 2024, and others are just kidding around a little bit lol, but I understand
If anybody knows if an Orbiter 2024 compatible version of AMSO exists, lemme know as well, thanks
I do confirm I use LTMFD with success. That is the proper alternative to IMFD issues. But I found the situation a little bit disapointing because I do like IMFD's versatilityI was able to achieve a good* LOI (burn) pretty much on every Apollo mission using the LTMFD (LunarTransferMFD) LOI program with AMSO 1.23 in Orbiter 2016 with the full stack (CSM+LM).
* in terms of resulting apolune and perilune
