SSU V1.25 Release

SiameseCat: Did you already link the spare button of the DAP pbis to trigger the PCT (post contact thrusting)? This button is pressed by the crew when the initial contact light lits on the ODS panel, for ensuring capture by pushing the shuttle against the docking port.

Its almost two days until the release, i wanted to ask do you guys a specific time for release or are you just gonna throw it out when ever you feels like.
Right now it's pretty much "whenever".

Except that we still concentrate on finishing features and removing bugs. I think we are now really closer to a release than just two weeks ago.

2 weeks closer any way. ;)

Yeah. I just noticed today, when analyzing the APDS section of the Rendezvous checklist, that I was wrong in one aspect and have the implementation of the ODS panel lights wrong: Each of the 18 status lights consists really of two individual lights - but you only notice the difference when you have only one panel power switch to "on".

But I think implementing this detail can wait a few days, would be just a change in the ODS panel, the interface to the DSCU would not change.

No, I haven't added the PCT yet; I'll do that today.

OK, thank you. You can find the timings of the PCT thrust sequence in the Rendezvous checklist (page 6-3):

1. maximal 0.28 seconds delay
2. 0.56 seconds thruster firing
3. 0.96 seconds delay
4. 0.88 seconds jet firing

With 2 nose and 2 tail thrusters.

PCT code has been added. I haven't added the body flap/sppedbrak pushbuttons to Panels F6/F8 yet, so the PCT is always armed at the moment. Also, we can't control individual thrusters yet, so the PCT fires all the downward-firing thrusters at a reduced level.

Seems like the night illumination on the pad has died again. Doesn't work even with a new MLP/Pad module.

The illumination works for me (except for the FSS, which hasn't had the illumination coded yet).

Hmmm, I wonder why my real-time scenario crashes then. It's an exact duplicate of the launch scenario except that the DATE line is commented out:

DaveS: Try recompiling the Atlantis project.
No effect. Still a CTD. The illumination works in the launch scenario after sunset so why shouldn't this scenario work?

When does the CTD occur?

-----Posted Added-----

Having actually tested the scenario, commenting out the Date line causes the scenario to CTD when loading for me; I'll take a look at this.

When does the CTD occur?
During scenario loading, when it supposed to display the sim. So loading is completed it just fails during initialization phase when the sim boots up.

Found the bug; I'll put the fix on sourceforge in a few minutes.
Great! One more bug killed! Oh and you should take a look on the CACTIVE attachment points. Doesn't align properly when transistioning for the launch phase to orbiter-only phase. Makes the payload get misaligned with the bay.

Same type of offset fault we had with the OBSS.

Scenario should be working now; I've also added the ROFI code to MLP.cpp. You might want to tweak the positions of the exhaust streams; also, the ROFI particle stream isn't using any textures at the moment.

Could you add a manual key trigger so I can tweak things more easily? Oh and the CTD is gone, so you got the right bug!
