Yes, that's "Nasa Warpship concept".
The current graphic client has support for PBR materials. On this case, I simply used the debugger to setup the material reflections.

"On the periscope. What a beautiful view! Cloud cover over Florida. 3 to 4 tenths near the eastern coast. Obscured up to Hatteras. I can see Okeechobee. Identify Andros Island. Identify the Reefs"

My tests indicate that Project Mercury seems to work on the Beta as long as you don't select the "window" camera in cockpit view. If you do, it will CTD.

It does look great with the enhanced graphics and scenery!

"MER-C" when pronounced "mercy" is quite a good name already ;)

Tests on my end yield the same result, I just felt it's time to introduce it to SC4/Multistage 2015. :)

For the sake of completeness there's a problem with parachute animations and sinking pads (if you add LC-14 for example). But the new water effects makes up for all that!

Hello, this is my first screenshot. I used Orbiter 2010 in this case. So, it may not look as pretty as the other members.

Falcon Heavy Core Stage has landed on the ASDS after completing its mission!

Nicholas.

AS-509 carrying CSM Kitty Hawk and LM Antares to their Apollo 14 mission! Shortly after insertion the Auxiliary Propulsion System (APS) ullage engines are used for about a minute to settle the propellants, which can be seen in this screenshot.

Here is another one.

DeltaGlider orbiting moon after entering retrograde orbit around it. This is my first trip to the moon after downloading Orbiter 2016 beta. The high resolution texture which has its data obtained from LRO camera is very impressive. Anyway, the mooon's hi-res texture downloading process is painstaking and requires lots of patience. (My internet speed is slow.:()

This is the screenshot of my last orbit around the moon's far side, with Earth about to sink below the horizon as I travel towards the near side. The retro thursters doors were opened.

Special thanks to Doctor Martin and his team of kind members who create this marvelous yet accurate terrain model of the moon.

Trust me, my internet is not even fast for German conditions and still I managed to get the files downloaded in 2 days... including driving home from work in my lunch break to start a new batch of downloads.

My internet speed here is 5 Mbps. It took me almost the same time (about 2-3 days) to download the files. Ok, so I trust you.

I remember it took about 3 days for the Apollo astronauts to the moon. So, yes, now I have arrived at the moon, as shown in the screenshot. (But about to leave soon.)

Just thinking too much.

Regards,

Nicholas.

Another beautiful and rewarding flight with G422 Starliner, from Cape Canaveral to the Carl Sagan Space Center.

This bird is amazing with all its sounds and that beautiful light reflecting on the panels, the most notable of them, the MFD "Flight Performance Range".

By the way, is there any MFD in the hangar that is like the flight performance range?

It would be wonderful to have it on other ships.

I love the displays on the G422 but I don't think the current MFD format supports blitting, gradients, or transparencies.

Furthermore the performance ranges are going to vary by vessel so I'm not sure what purpose a generic MFD in this context would serve.

Last week would have been the 30th anniversary of STS-61H carrying the Palapa and Westar satellites along with Britain's Skynet.
