OHM SpaceX Mission Package (2016-present)

Kyle, if you can, you can use an alternative account (for example, "lyke"). Unfortunately, it is impossible to do so!

The upload is complete! Now, I need to replace the placeholder description. Kyle, can you give me the requirements for this add-on? Because you have deleted your add-on!!

Kyle,

I have a question about the SpaceX Mission Package:

Is there a reason why you deleted the addon? I obviously know you had trouble uploading it to Orbit Hangar, but it's been pretty long since the issue started.

Could you also give an estimate as to when you'll get the addon back up? Thanks.

I tried to reupload it but the problem remains. I do not appear to be the only user having this problem as crisbeta's file also appears to be missing for their Mayak addon. I'll just post updates to the package on this thread. See the previous page for the most recent package.

IFA and JCSAT-18 should be in there too, both from LC-39A

I've been curious: since the Dragon IFA is imminent soon, how this mission will be simulated if Musk planned to use only a single reused Falcon 9 booster?

? I don't understand what you mean by a single reused Falcon 9 booster? B1046 will be launching on its fourth flight.

What I mean is that Elon Musk doesn't plan to include a live/dummy second stage on top of B1046 (that was waaayyy back May 2019, I don't know if this has changed)

It'll be a live second stage, just no Merlin 1D Vac. Everything needs to be exactly as it would be during a nominal F9 launch up until max q.

Thanks Kyle
It works better for me if I use 23000kg fuel reserve.
Do we know how the fairing recovery went?

You can add in Ms.Tree and Ms.Chief, if you fancy a try at chasing down the fairings :-)
The fairing autopilots won't be enabled if there is no vessel named "FRV", so you have to actually chase 'em.

Code:
Ms.Tree:Falcon9R_V12\frv
  STATUS Landed Earth
  POS -76.3000000 32.9100000
  HEADING 90.00
  ALT 0.018
  AROT 0.000 -76.300 57.090
  AFCMODE 7
  PRPLEVEL 0:1.000000
  NAVFREQ 0 0
  NET 0 0 0.0000
  BLN 0 0.0000 100 0.0 0.0 0.0
END
Ms.Chief:Falcon9R_V12\frv
  STATUS Landed Earth
  POS -76.3000000 32.8970000
  HEADING 90.00
  ALT 0.018
  AROT 0.000 -76.300 57.103
  AFCMODE 7
  PRPLEVEL 0:1.000000
  NAVFREQ 0 0
  NET 0 0 0.0000
  BLN 0 0.0000 100 0.0 0.0 0.0
END

Cheers,
Brian

Fairings unfortunately were not recovered due to high wave heights, which is why I did not include the two ships. It does work better to use 23000kg of fuel, however I think SpaceX has started using closer to 15000-18000kg of fuel for the heavier missions like Starlink.

You're probably right. My landing burn algorithm just doesn't like that shallow approach angle. I'll have to take a look when I've stopped playing around with Starship.

Thanks,
Brian

Kyle, when will the next update for the mission package be? I mentioned in BrianJ's Falcon9 addon thread that the satellite payloads such as AMOS 17 technically load, but they're located in the middle of nowhere and there's no payload mass on the F9.

Yea, I'll post something sometime this weekend to fix and update everything.
