Congrats to Lewis Hamilton, your world champion of 2017. Max won the race in impressive style. Seb had an over-aggressive start, losing part of his front wing fighting Max, and then stabbing the raw end of that wing into Lewis' rear tire. Both Seb and Lewis were then at the back of the race (Seb for a wing, Lewis for a tire). Looked like Lewis had more damage though as he struggled for the rest of the race (e.g. 20 laps to get past back markers). It was all OK in the end for him though, as Seb could not get back to the podium.

Two more meaningless races now for the season ... with both constructor's and driver's championship RB, Merc, and Ferrari, plus a couple of wild cards!

I do not think races will be meaningless because champion is already known. It's just the way it is - there must not be intrigue until the last race of season at any cost.
What I really do not like, is the way NASCAR in recent years made new system with all these playoffs, etc. totally wrong.
But anyway I do not watch F1 too much anymore (just occasionally). Just Moto 3+Moto 2+MotoGP. Amazing battles. And next year Indycar will be great looking.
Also I really dislike how many tracks appear - on many circuits there are painted red-pink-blue roadsides - horrible. It distracts from racing, and looks cartoonish. This colorization makes F1 cars less noticable. Especially it was irritating 3 years ago, when half of the field was black,grey,black... of course, because of this track maintenance costs increase.

I do not think races will be meaningless because champion is already known.

What I meant was that there is no constructor's or driver's world championship to fight for, but of course there will still be great racing and millions of people watching.

I was thinking that I don't remember once seeing a competitive Lewis/Sebastian race for the checkered flag. With Ferrari's pride at stake, and the Merc's with nothing to lose, I would love to see two no-holds-barred races to end the season.
