I'm not sure if it's already posted but here's another launch video from a... somewhat different perspective

Kind of late, but here's a view of STS-133's launch from a jetliner cruising north over Florida... at the right place and the right time!

My personal pick of cool photos from the mission thus far: :)

An awesome view of the Nadir side of the ISS. Notice ATV-2 at SM Aft.

A close-up shot of ATV-2 docked to SM Aft. Notice also the white, rectangular object protruding from the Port (left) side of the SM - that is the Radiometria experiment, recently installed on RS EVA-28.

A great shot of Discovery's PLB and the SPDM with HTV-2's ORUs, taken from the Cupola.

A very odd attitude for ISS (taken during the extended free-drift period post-docking).

Soyuz flyaround is off. :(

NASASpaceflight via Twitter said:
STS-133 UPDATE: Soyuz Flyabout for historic ISS/Discovery imagery is NO GO on the Russian side. So that's over.

Well that stinks !!!

Well, we have some great photos so far... Plus the shuttle final fly-around, which will be awesome as well.

EVA-1 has now ended. All objectives were completed (J612 extension cable install, PM relocate to ESP-2, CP3 camera wedge installation) and a get-ahead task was accomplished (S1 rail stubs). STS-133 has also been officially extended by one day, even though the Soyuz flyaround is now off.

Here's a fantastic time-lapse video of EVA-1.

...or maybe not...yet. On today's Mission Status Briefing, Royce Renfrew, lead ISS FD for the mission, said he still hasn't heard back from the Russians about any decisions on the fly-around. In his words, "Still in a posture we came into originally.". The decision should come tomorrow at the space station Mission Management Team meeting, after more discussions with the international partners.

So don't give up hope yet! Or, in the words of Orbinaut Pete, "So, would someone kindly call Mr. Perminov, and tell him that he can have a crate of vodka on me if he says "da" to the flyaround. "
