You seem to master the approaching and docking procedureDo you have now a short checklist for that? What to do to stop ISS rotate? I mean Better ISS

Where can I download the MIR? I didn't even know there was a hires MIR for Orbiter!
Not sure that is possible, as the pad has no concept of time, only the LCC and the vehicle. That is why the vent is tied to the vent hood position.GLS: While you're doing ground stuff, could you deactivate GVA venting at T-4 minutes instead of being coincident with GVA hood retraction as that's when venting from the ET LOX vents stopped as LOX Drainback was initiated.
Maybe you could add a comment to this issue on Github: https://github.com/orbitersim/orbiter/issues/381Not sure that is possible, as the pad has no concept of time, only the LCC and the vehicle. That is why the vent is tied to the vent hood position.
Ideally the vent would be in the ET, and the particles would have collision detection and flow thru the pipes, and a valve in the ET would control the venting as it should.... such a feature would also be nice in flame trenches... oh well, one can dream.
Yes it is your docking module. The Mir station I use comes from here https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/mir-station-complex-ur-500-family.38117/page-58@Geoair2 is that my docking Module? Not sure who was/did the Hi res MIR
Is it related to KU antena settings? No. ISS remains in its normal LVLH attitude until capture is sensed. Just follow the Rendezvous checklist and you will be fine.
Apparently not…for some reason it’s touch and go trying to compile information either from the nasa pdf’s (good luck figuring out what’s modeled and what’s not..if you have that kind of time) or browsing the forums and compiling little tidbits of info….its a shame, it really REALLY is the best add on by far! Would be amazing if someone could do a flight launch to wheel stop explaining at least how to complete basic functions to get her back on the ground. Would also love to see it with hi res texturesHas anyone ever created a written or video guide for SSV newcomers?
This is one of Orbiter’s best addons.
AFAIK, there are no "SSV Checklists". In the SSV manual there is a link (https://web.archive.org/web/2023053...nters/johnson/news/flightdatafiles/index.html) for a NASA website with actual checklists that the astronauts used.Where can I find “SSV Checklists”? That would be super helpful!
Read the FDO MFD manual, checkout the thread (https://www.orbiter-forum.com/threads/shuttle-fdo-mfd.36912/). In there you will find info on how to setup a deorbit burn, with (in my experience) 100% success rate. You can also use it to rendezvous with an orbiting target.I just need help using Shuttle FDO MFD For doing a debit and entry…right now I’ve got a VERY rudimentary method for doing it, but it’s 50/50 for me if I get the burn right as sometimes she comes in way to shallow, and the dap starts rolling her inverted (I’m assuming it’s trying to correct the entry trajectory to get back in the corridor. If there’s a quick video on walking one through performing this that would be amazing. I’m assuming the FDO MFD plans all this for you? I did fine on a regular orbit using base sync..but then leaving the ISS (much higher orbit) for some reason it came in way WAY too shallow
