Hello, Just a quick question about the space station building blocks addon. I'm not sure how to operate the controls for the RMS arm and the solar panels for my station. I know how to deploy them but just not the selecting/moving/rotating joints part. Thanks.

Oh and I looked in the documents and I could not get them to work.

It's something like Lshift and the numpad keys, isn't it?
I haven't used the SSBB arm, but the Descartes (also by Greg) arm works that way, and I have reason to believe both are similar.

If that doesn't work, there are a few non-Burch arms out there ([ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3373"]URMS[/ame] is a good one) that you can easily attach with the scenario editor.

I've been using the URMS arm for my station, and I'm sure its much better than the spacecraft3 SSBB arm. As for the solar panels I've tried every possible combination that I could think of with Lshift and couldn't get the panels to move or rotate. I made sure I pressed space to activate the controls.

Really? I downloaded and installed SSBB4.0 to try and test, and found it works like this:
Press K to deploy
Press space - A debug message will appear at the bottom left on your screen
Leftshift 4 and 6 select animation
Leftshift 2 and 8 move animated part
The trusses and panels roll fine for me. I'm not sure what's going on.
Make sure you're using the numpad keys (the ones that normally control your thrusters) and not your alphanumeric keyboard number line.

Turns out, my numlock was on and that was the source of the problem, the panels rotate fine now!

Sorry you had to re download, but thanks for the help :)

Ill be sure to hang around for a while, at least I don't have to turn the whole station to point towards the sun now:thumbup:
