Well I do make scenarios for "Command Modern Air Naval Operations" so I have spent a lot of time looking up Airbases and what is where on them. :shifty: Mostly Historical ones but still.

Alas, my loyal 2005 Civic snapped its timing belt after 356,000 good miles. It was exactly due for replacement and I had scheduled for the service next week. So sad.

I always hated probability and statistics.

The timing belt, The one thing mechanics go out of the way to avoid changing. At least my garage is honest about not doing them and strait up refuses to do them at all. My brothers car went when its timing belt snapped a week after it was "replaced" by a garage. Suffice to say that garage is no more and he got a new car out of the pay out.

Yeah I was there. Sat up with my Dad, around 0300hrs trying to stay awake even though I totally in to it. My bedroom wall was covered in cuttings from the papers for years after. Even after I had left home for the RAF in 1971.
