With O-F being a global community, I should have mentioned one other thing about the recent solar activity: "NOAA forcasters estimate a 25% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on Oct. 31st when a CME is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field. Oh dear. Not even October 31, but I think I've had enough Halloween. Played Metro: Last Light with the Oculus Rift for a while.
This of course involved mutant spiders running across my face, dead bodies everywhere, creepy flashbacks, being in the cockpit of a plane as it falls out of the sky, being swept into the air by a "demon" (big gargoyle creature), etc. Mutant dog things running at me was the LEAST creepy thing to happen. (besides the one that jumped out from nowhere)
