Good thing that picture was random like everything else in here, otherwise my mind would start to question why its here. But then again, this is a random comment in its self.

Eli, isn't that from a Muse video?

I just made a meter-long paper plane, the thing is HUGE!
It's made from posterboard and I'm in the process of hot-gluing it for stability.
It has a vertical stabilizer that's 40x30 cm, it's made out of the planes nose, which is extra weight and does nothing. I usually cut the noses off because of that.

I'm doing test flights now, I might even go to the park and fly it, that'll attract some attention

Awesome! Does it even fly? I need to do that too...

I need my Orbiter-Forum fix NOW! Hellllllllllp!

I can't help but wonder...

...how did you post that if you couldn't get on O-F?

Currently installing inFAMOUS on my PS3. Part of the PlayStation Network "Welcome Back Pack." Also picked up WipEout HD + Fury add-on.

I had built a paperplane with 80 cm wing span, it is possible...did glide even better than the smaller scale ones in this case. But folding accurately was hard work.

Yeah, the bigger you go the more rigid the paper has to be, there is NO room for mistakes.

My plane was floppy though, so I tried adding a wooden rod to the end.
That didn't work out well. It broke off on it's first flight.

I had selected one that was already rock solid in A4, before getting A1 paper. ;)

Looked like a flying wing, with some increasing dihedral to the wing tips.

Impressive how even in the last week of school teachers make you spend the week-end making a Geometry research work.

Today was awesome. With my CAP squadron, I got to volunteer at a local airshow type event. There was an Army Blackhawk Helicopter, a B-2 flyover, skydivers (one of them is in my squadron). Totally worth the sunburn!

:woohoo:
This school year is finally over!

Oh, how I wish I could hear it in happiness this year.

Here are some photos from that airshow I mentioned earlier.
