It's not red!
Hollywood lies!

The USG is my standard, hand-drawn, computer-smoothed logo. (Represents graphics.)
And the LEM is represents photography and space.

What makes me mad at Google (and some other search options)?
You type in what you need into the search box, move the mouse to click the search button, but end up clicking on the list of "maybe you meant, or it sounds like" that suddenly popped up, and end up going to a completely unrelated page before you realized what just happened.

I mean, WHY add a menu like that, knowing that it will pop right over the button, exactly when it should be pressed?

I just type in my search term and hit enter...

Reading through http://www.nasa.gov/directorates/somd/reports/iss_reports/2009/09012009.html:

At ~3:15 pm, Padalka & Romanenko are scheduled for supporting an RS PAO event by downlinking congratulatory messages to Veteran Cosmonaut Andriyan Nikolayev on his 80th birthday and to the opening of the Galaktika Cosmonautics Museum in Rostov-on-Don. [Andriyan Grigorievich Nikolaeyev, who after Gagarin and Titov became the world’s third cosmonaut, will observe his 80th birthday on 9/5 in his home province of Chuvashia, in the Volga village Shorshely. The opening of the cosmonautics museum will take place on 9/11 at Limited Partnership Research & Development Enterprise Kvant at the Galaktika Youth Club in Rostov-on-Don.]

All that sounds nice, except for the fact of Nikolayev's passing away in 2004...

You only live twice.

Also, it is common to commemorate the even anniversaries of famous people even after their death, so celebrating his 80th birthday even when he is dead is at least, not that morbid. But the NASA news are still obviously written by somebody who lost his sanity on the way to work.

You know your parents are being cheap with the heating when you have to wear winter gloves indoors.

I recently ordered some computer accessories from eBay. The vendor obviously has great confidence in the postal system:
The delivery time and expected arrival date are for reference only.
Holidays in your country, delay on post office, accidents...etc will affect the process for certain.
So I'm assuming the delivery dates are to be taken as a "no earlier than".

Does this picture look right for you?
Lol. I guess they just liked the aesthetics of it that way...

My wife and kids were in a bus crash this morning: http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/10/20/2718669.htm. They got out OK, albeit shaken, but one of the seven passengers sent to hospital was our neighbour, 35 weeks pregnant. Here's hoping she is OK.
