Thanks everyone for the positive response. With this add-on I thoroughly learned how to make good Alpha textures so I will be applying this these techniques to a couple off-planet bases as well. I still have a couple more weeks before I start my next contract so I'll try to squeeze out a couple more. Thanks again everyone!

What about making a similar base on Mars? I mean, it looks almost Martian already.

Thank you very much for that comparison but Ascension Island is in a league of it's own. wehaveaproblem created one of if not the most well made base in the entire Orbiter community, I could only strive for that level of work.

very nice, made a quick flight form wideawake to overton.

my pc is pretty old so i had a big FPS drop while approaching the island.
i removed the trees ,real shame because i like them, now my FPS are back at the normal level.

I totally disagree. it's different but has a lot of nice features. I think it's a perfect compliment to wideawake.

Woah.... lovely job dude!

Almost motivates me to pull my finger out finally and finish the WIN update (that I have been sorely avoiding lol).

And don't sell yourself short anem, this looks like a fine piece of work. I haven't explored it proper yet, but it looks very able to compete for the "middle of the ocean home-away-from-home award" that WIN currently holds by default!

Good stuff. It's nice to see some proper thought go into another island base.

Kudos on the trees, they look lovely - something I avoided for the exact reason Oceanic makes.
Also Kudos for going into the mountain... again something I refused to do, despite the cries for it!

And thank you very much Garyw. It's is absolutely fulfilling to know thta people are enjoying this add-on.

It's a funny thing about these bases and I sure most developers will agree, you could go on forever adding things here and there, I started out making a simple base and ended up adding the launch gantry, tree's, water treatment plant and everything else. It's hard to stop adding stuff. So on some level, it feels like it's never finished.
