I suspected a scrub was going to happen when all those issues started cropping up. Like that :censored: boat!

While we're waiting, here's a quick quiz: anyone spot any interesting sites in this image? :p

Is LC-34 visible on the lower-left corner of the picture?

Hey, just got back from the launch. I was taking video almost all of the countdown sequences, and I got to hear the launch commentary report the wind script errors. So, there was a boat, high wind, and the fill valve malfunction problems. Later in the movie, you hear the countdown started up again, then the script error.

Never mind, it was freezing my computer. I will get it on here some time.

Yes, in fact it seems that the tanks fill/drain valves iced to the point they could not function anymore. This is a common problem with cryogenic launchers operating in an environnement where humidity is quite high (like the Cape in this season).

So the valves malfunction was a consequence of the boat range violation and the wind gusts causing the aborts; the launcher isn't really designed to stand for hours fully fueled on a launchpad.

T-1 hour 15 minutes. Weather still looks like a concern (gusty winds and thick clouds).

I'm pretty sure those people haven't slept a lot between the two launch windows :)

Great to have Rex Walheim on NASA TV! I really hope he gets put on an Orion mission before he retires. His excitement is contagious.

Think he'll want to stay around for another 10 years for that opportunity?
