July 16, 1969 - Apollo 11 lifted off for the moon where history was made! This film is a remake of my original Apollo 11 release featuring Orbiter Space Flight Simulator and AMSO Apollo addon. Thanks for watching! :)

- Turns off APU
- Stomps on brakes, cussing, mumbling, "Why the hell are the brakes not...oh...wait..."
- Turns APU back on just in time to avoid a rapid cooldown of the hull

Seriously though nice flight.

For a flight done on just a whim its very nice, and you've had far better luck at a direct re-entry with the XR2 than most of my attempts which end up with a rapid explosive deceleration about 56km up.

What's the music in the beginning? I know it's from the documentary series "When We Left Earth".

Hey guys, this is my first video its a rough draft but it includes music composed by myself and a friend, I hope you enjoy it!
