The probe blessed you with the gift to make videos of pure excellence.

I took a look at your avi (after noticing some unnecessary artifacts) and there are a few things you could do to achieve better quality with the same size. If you like I could give you some pointers as I am very familiar with this end of video encoding/muxing.

Another fine piece of work Tex, grats... you make the whole orbiting thing look so easy.
I liked the saturation effects in this one particularly, but the whole thing does the lovely XR2 real justice.

Wideawake International Promo

So I took a break from modelling today and finally got around to making an orbiter vid. As with all of them, the quality is a bit crud after compression, but it just about works. Just some shamelss promotion of Wideawake International... enjoy.

I played the video with Linkin Park's "One Step Closer" and the tempo fit pretty well. Long live New Metal

I can't see a reference so I am guessing that you pulled a loop in the XR2 and popped the sound barrier on your way down?

That"s correct. My camera view was from the ground. I installed the Flyby View MFD but could not make it work.

I looked though the flight manual and I could not see anywhere where it states that barrel rolls and loops are part of a normal to orbit launch, pretty video though
