Actually this was kind of a "test shot", I used a Thorton ISS scenario, I think somewhere in the 2001 launches. And I didn't touch anything :lol:

It's been so long since I actually just flew a mission in Orbiter, especially exploring somewhere new, instead of just trying out an addon for a few minutes before returning to real life. I'd forgotten how much I truly love this sim.

DGIV on the pad at the newly-refit Prelude III base on Phobos, after a successful flight from Orcus Patera (my first flight out of OP, and my first ever flight to Phobos).

Last Sunday, my primary space station, Skylab-II re-entered Earth's atmosphere as planned.

As follow up, the third generation (in my Orbiter world) of the Skylab station was launched today, at 11:00 utc. Called the Polar Earth Observatory (PEO), Skylab was launched in a polar orbit from Cape Canaveral (not really realistic I know).

The first planned mission is the Italian/European Eridanus shuttle later this month.

Nah, just playing around with a custom solar system. Earth and Mars are on the same orbit with 180° R.Inc.

By the way: are there any addons with dedicated aircraft for the Martian atmosphere? Trying to do a low-altitude flight with a DG is a bit of a nightmare.
