I think I bumped the gamma up a bit, because my monitor's a bit dark. There may be some other non-default settings that haven't been overwritten by the build/install process, that I have had from a few months ago. No changes to the atmosphere settings.
 
Kosmos 106 was the first out of 19 built DS-P1-I military satellites, meant for calibration of Soviet missile defence radars. Concurrently with deployment of the DS-P1-I satellites, also very similar DS-P1 and DS-P1-Yu series were being launched. Here we can see Kosmos 106 during its first day on the orbit:

My first impressions of Open Source Orbiter (finally tried it yesterday).
Clouds look more beautiful in Open (right) than in 2016 (left) (over the same location with disabled cloud shadows):

And this green gamma looks quite interesting.

It seems better with disabled (left) cloud shadows (however, in Orbiter 2016 too). Open:

Is it possible to change (or switch) the sun texture into just a small round disk without glare and effect on DG glass cockpit, as in 2016 (3rd screenshot)?:

I'm wondering, if it's any opportunity to change color, size, animation speed (or its disabled) of the water specular ripples just editing some Orbiter files without code editing. Maybe something like the manual Terrain Flattening in D3D9 :unsure:, I'd like to experiment with water tuning. These are default, 2016 (left) and Open (right):

However, the water is more transparent in Open. I think the water is too dark (almost black). It could be more lighter and bluer.

Also, I want to notice, that atmosphere from the the ground looks better in Open Source Orbiter.
