IMO, the main solar panels look a lot better if the specular is adjusted to a more golden-yellow, and the others to a cyan-blue.

Here's the first assembly mission of Eternity Station, ESS-1. Mounted on the Energia, launching from CSSC, is ESS-1 (the Tron DG), ESS-800 (emergency rescue vessel) and Eternity Core, the first module.

On the way to orbit.

Ascending...

The ride to orbit continues.

Aaaand we have separation of ESS-800. The rest follow.

800 approaches after the periapsis kick.

And we have capture!

Testing on the new RMS arm begins.

Meanwhile, the first dedicated assembly mission, ESSA-1, prepares for rendezvous.

"ESS-1, don't look now, but there's a Vanguard behind you."

The light from ESSA-1's docking port lights up ESS-1.

Docking confirmed!

The RMS arm on ESSA-1 begins working.

ESS-800 switches docks, making room for ESSA-1, and gets a nice view of the station as the autopilot docks the ship.

And the day's work is finished.

Also, is anybody else having trouble with the gallery uploader? It doesn't work for me.

I'd start a proper dev-thread but I'm having trouble settling on a name. "Spider & Gumdrop" is the current working title but I have plans to expand beyond the the historical LM + CSM and I want the name to reflect that. Unfortunatly "Beyond Apollo" is already claimed.
