Orbiter Screenshot Thread

I remember seeing someone else post the Earth Rise shot with ORULEX running and them having a very bumpy lunar landscape in the foreground. Maybe he was at a lower altitude. I was at 140km or so.
You should either get to lower altitude, or change altlimit to something higher in config\terrain\moon.cfg

I did actually take this picture with ORULEX running, and the Moon's heightmap. I however did not get the picture I was looking for -- mountains in the foreground and not a perfect sphere, like the original picture. I was at 10 deg FOV.

As far as I can tell, ORULEX turns the scenery on or off based on the position of your camera, rather than the position of your vessel, and only turns it on or off if the simulation is running. So one trick you might try would be to, while the simulation is running, zoom out the camera and pan around until your close enough to the surface to "trigger" the scenery, then pause the simulation, zoom back in to your craft, and take the screenshot like normal.

Nice, looks roomey also i was wondering when i looked at that, with space lab the astronauts or cosmonauts could float through a tunnel to get in there, can the people on the shuttles do the same thing with there payload for could the Endeavour crew get into Kibo during powered flight.

I know the pilot is Dr. Schweiger, but who are the ones in the back? One looks like Jessica Alba :P

G'day all,

Just been admiring everyone's great shots.
Am wondering if there is a way to take sceenshots in Orbiter without the text displays in the left and right top corners?
I wish to use these screen caps in an unedited image comp, therefore cropping the images after capture would be considered having been edited.
Any clues?
