Sorry, No. you can't have 23 as I don't believe you have sufficient experience in Earth -> Mars transfers. For that mission we need someone who understands either IMFD or TransX and will follow the mission plan and I don't believe you have those skills.

well, REOTIO and SU need some time anyway - although my reallife-stress has calmed down and I plan to relive them it doesn't seem like the other membvers know that... and even when they go on I'll surely get some time free. - As long as the mission doesn't need 10 hours reatime

Hal, What are your Earth -> LEO, Earth -> Mars skills like - be honest.

well - pretty good - Not the VERY BEST - but at least kind of good - can fly from LEO to mars with a deltav of 8000m/s without any extra MFDS (transx, etc), oly using orbit-mfd... i can launch the stock atantis... so It should oth be good enough to make the most regular mars-missions.

Why on Eath you need 8 km/s of dV to reach Mars from LEO - simple Hohmann transfer gives you 6,6 km/s without any aerocapture which can reduce dV needed even more.

That's 1,4 km/s wasted.

it was because the consellation wasn't optimal (0,7km/s), correcions during the trajectory (0,5km/s) and I said y<ou I'm not the VERY BEST (0,2 km/s) (I didn't use any extra MFD, IMFD, etc... - I did it nly by estimating the trajectory and the times in my head - so it wasn't optimal - I'm sure i would have needed less using IMFD)
