Gaming Hielor's Minecraft Server

I know of one at -210, 260 , I cant remember who built it, but i think there is a sign there saying who did.
That's "Submarine Base Beta Tango" (you can get there from Nether through a portal which is down the long ladder near commune's portal, right next to feedback signs). Another underwater structure is at x=-355, z=919.

Another good way to breathe underwater is by placing a pole made from (wooden) fence. There's an air bubble around it which you can enter (the fence's collision box is small).

I've build a few underwater structures around my area, southeast of the Commune. :)

Map markers do not seem to stick - there was one for the Hielor's dome, it's now gone, and i added a couple - they are gone too.
Is that supposed to happen somehow?

They are still there. Clear your browser's cache and check again.

Interesting.
Clearing cache does not help, but using another browser does.

The dynmap seems broken in IE10 unless I use compat mode.

And the Alpha Dome is now initially complete.
It is sort of a stereotypical fishbowl-with-a-castle, only inside out.
Ideas for decorations are welcome.

The last water is pumped out:

It seems it's off-line. The dynmap doesn't load either. I was diving when it disconnected me, so I'll be probably dead next time I'll log in. :P

Hopefully, autosaves are there for a reason.

Odd, not sure what happened, I'll check when I get home.

Update: my on-site staff (read: girlfriend) has confirmed it's an issue with the network, not the server computer. Most likely means that all the data is safe and there will be no need to restore to a backup.

My bet would be that my cat's disconnected the router again.

Cable modem died. Purchased a new one, Comcast can't figure out how to talk to it, so they're going to send a technician at my expense to fix it.

Not what I would expect with having purchased a Motorola surfboard...an offbrand maybe, but not the most popular brand out there.

Server's available again. I really, really didn't want to pay for a comcast technician to come out and do basically nothing, so I proceeded into some troubleshooting of my own.

An hour later, I've figured out how to trigger the comcast "activate device" process, and on going through it, discover that both of the people I'd talked to on the phone managed to fail at the modem's MAC address--the first one put down a '2' instead of a 'B', the second one failed to notice that I said 'B' instead of '2' when I read it to her. Fortunately the computer system was better trained and actually worked...

Anyway, Woo, it's pretty late here so I won't be able to move my stuff out of the dome tonight--I'll get to it tomorrow sometime.

Edit: The new internets seem to be at least 50% faster than the old...so, yay?

Great, I hope the much needed boost will solve the bottleneck problem we've been having, especially when there's much people online :D

The Abyss Hall is now superstructurally complete.
It's a 15x15x9 underwater hall, situated in the deep ocean right off the east cliff of Absurd Island.

I've moved out of the dome--it's all yours, Woo.

The nether Hub. most of the routes from there have rail.

This is what I'm planning to replace the bio dome with in the near future.
