Question Graphics for dome/curved screen projection

Hi guys, I'm currently involved in a group that plans to exhibit Orbiter inside mini-domes (inflatable planetarium) or curved screens using LCD projectors. Is there any attempt here at an orbiter graphics engine that is suited for such displays? Thanks!

BHawthorne ran OGLAClient on a semi-circular screen rather successfully before:

OGLA supports up to 360* projections, but not an equirectangular one, so it may work on look-around screen but not on a sphere/dome screen.

I am still looking for other options for this. Any help will be highly appreciated.

I guess among the things I'm looking for, is some kind of third-party app that basically accepts video display output and can modify/distort this output (to say, a warped/dome shape) in real-time, like some kind of filter. Is this possible?
