What size should she be. I have her at 7055 length.

I thought I had fixed those. as far as smoothing goes do you mean those torpedo tubes? I tried to duplicate them and the same result

Do you plan to start working on those things once you're finished your current projects?
Not planning on revisiting the Nova, for reasons explained above. Everything else is open? But available time will wane, several projects to finish and so many others I'd like to do. Did want to do some Star Trek stuff but if I'll ever get round to it...

I imagine at least the cannons should be round? Most of the ship is square so that's an advantage:)
Out of curiosity do you know why the smoothing is blocked on the mesh? Do you do the final export with meshwizard or similar? I'm guessing that it's an export thing?

At the very least, once gattispilot is finished with the mesh, you can do the Vessel Builder files for the Nova, and then you can release them. I assume that should be a fairly simple task.

Regarding the additional texture maps and lighting, perhaps you could be a bit more specific about what you want done in that area?

I am done with the meshes. I use Anim8or export.
here are those tubes. they look smooth

Again, nothing from my side, not my request, happy to make suggestions but I guess it should be up to the modder to decide what needs to be done. Have enough loose ends currently, look forward to your release.

Now that I think about it, there are some areas of the Nova-class mesh that look like they could use some additional texture maps, including the hangar, torpedo tubes, and parts of the lower bow section. For the former, I'm thinking of taking a similar approach as with the Narcissus, possibly even using the same textures, but I'm not sure about the rest.

Before we can add those texture maps, however, there are some glitches in the mesh that need to be fixed.

For one, there's a gap in the area above the hangar:

In addition, I took the time to look closely at the model and noticed the asymmetry that Buck Rogers mentioned earlier. In particular, some of the triangular sections highlighted below are facing in the wrong direction:

(I assume this next one should be facing the other way because of the cannon structure, which I'll get to soon.):

Lastly, there's part of a cannon structure that is present on the port side but not the starboard side:

Give her a try. Not sure about the dock positions,......
It's working perfectly, although it could use some animation for the centrifuge. Also, the docking ports should ideally be located in the forward and aft docking bays and in the cobra bays, in a manner similar to stevecast's take on its successor station. Also, I have made a few changes to the configuration file and mesh, including updated physical parameters and re-arranging some of the file directories.

wHAT ANIMATES FOR THE CENTRIFUGE?
I believe the central centrifuge, highlighted in blue, rotates in one direction, while the areas highlighted in red rotate in the opposite direction, again in a manner similar to stevecast's take on its successor.

By the way, did you catch that post above regarding the errors in the Nova mesh needing to be fixed?
